QLD: Class action by Dubai trained stevedores in court today

BRISBANE, Feb 3 AAP - Legal manoeuvring in the $125 million class action from non-union
waterfront workers involved in last year's docks dispute began in the Federal Court in
Brisbane today.
In a brief appearance in the Federal Court, solicitors representing Workplace Relations
Minister Peter Reith, the National Farmers' Federation and Patrick stevedores claimed the
class action from the workers had a number of "deficiencies".
